Moisture content specifications: Requirements vary significantly depending on the base material, which directly dictates the choice of masterbatch.
PET: Must be kept below 0.02%; drying temperature: 140°C–160°C; drying time: 2–4 hours.
PP/PE: Generally should not exceed 0.03%–0.05%.
PA6: 0.2%–0.4% is permissible; PA66 requires 0.1%–0.2%.

When purchasing, you can request a moisture content test report from the supplier; the level should typically be below 0.5%.
Compatibility between the carrier and the base material: The carrier resin of the masterbatch must match the plastic you are using. For example, when using a PA6 base material, it is preferable to select a silicone masterbatch with a PA6 carrier to ensure better compatibility; otherwise, dispersion and the performance of the finished product may be compromised.
