Masterbatch for Recycled PE and PP Processing

Recycled-material performance begins with the feedstock and preparation route. XINYU separates mineral adjustment from moisture control and reviews how sorting, washing, drying, filtration and pelletizing affect the downstream application.

What This Application Requires

A Known Feedstock Condition

Source, sorting, washing, dewatering, drying, printing and adhesive residues, mixed polymer, existing ash and storage exposure define the starting point.

Controlled Melt Preparation

Feeding, compaction, screw condition, venting, vacuum, screen pack, pressure, pelletizing and cooling determine which defects remain in the pellet.

Verification in the Downstream Product

A pellet can look acceptable and still fail in film, injection, sheet, raffia or blow molding. The final conversion route must be included in approval.

Relevant XINYU Product Directions

Recycled PE Filler Masterbatch

For recycled PE processing where feedstock variation, existing mineral content, filtration, pressure, surface and downstream performance require a controlled formulation route.

Recycled PP Filler Masterbatch

For recycled PP conversion where MFR variation, mixed polymer, existing ash, degradation, filtration and the final injection, raffia or extrusion route must be reviewed together.

Film Grade Desiccant Masterbatch

For selected film processing with limited residual moisture, evaluated through feeding, pressure, screen condition, bubble behavior, pinholes, surface, strength and sealing.

Desiccant Masterbatch for Blow Molding

For selected recycled-content hollow products where moisture-related gas must be separated from parison, venting, contamination, head and molding effects.

Desiccant Masterbatch for Injection Molding

For selected PE and PP injection trials where silver streaks, gas marks or voids may involve residual moisture and must be diagnosed against venting, packing and degradation.

Anti Moisture Masterbatch

A broader moisture-control direction for selected polyolefin recycling and conversion routes, used after the water path, venting, filtration and downstream defect have been mapped.

What to Review During a Trial

Map feedstock source, sorting, washing, dewatering, drying, storage, current formulation and existing mineral content.

01

Record compactor or feeder behavior, load, temperature, vent and vacuum condition, pressure, screen residue, pellet porosity and cooling.

02

Separate moisture-related gas from contamination, mixed polymer, ink, adhesive and thermal degradation evidence.

03

Run an identified pellet lot through its intended downstream process and inspect the actual film, molded part, sheet, tape or container.

04

What to Share with XINYU

Send the polymer stream, preparation route, pelletizing line, defect history and downstream use. XINYU will determine whether the first step is filler selection, moisture control or further process investigation.
